The Eurobot finals are coming soon and we would like to inform you about some technical characteristics regarding the game elements that will be used.
For the finals we will have to use more than 400 can as a game item. It is not possible for us to supply ourselves by recycling to have uniform game elements, of good quality, and in sufficient quantity. Thus, the can used will be purchased by an industry-specific supplier. If these are perfectly in accordance with the characteristics defined in the Eurobot rules, they will have some nuance compared to the cann that you may have been using. These nuances are presented in detail below
- Like specified by the rules the can are standard size 1/2 high food can with size 73 mm in diameter by 109 mm high ;
- The circumference is not wavy but smooth ;
- They are made of steel (don’t be fooled by the color) ;
- The sheet metal used is a little thicker than the recycled cans (this can have a small impact on its magnetic capacities) ;
- There is a small 2 mm rim at the top of the can ;
