Limite de hauteur des éléments de jeu = 43 cm

Question

E1b : "Les éléments de jeu ont le droit de dépasser la limite de hauteur autorisée jusqu’à 430 mm, mais seulement dans les zones de construction et les limites du château."

Les pierres faisant 32*11*11, une porte fait donc 32+11 = 43 cm de haut. Ce qui ne laisse aucune marge pour la construction... Ça risque pas d'être un peu compliqué de construire une porte ?

As it says literally in the rules:

"exceed the allowed height limit by up to 430 mm"

I would interpret this as if you can go to a total of 350mm+430mm=780mm.
Otherwise I would I agree that it is much too tight

It is probable a maximal limit of 430 (not 780). I agree that wording could lead to this (and an AI would also say this), but as 430 is the top mast value, I bet it's 430 as 780 is linked to nothing.

It is highly probable that the first version of the rules was with 30cmx10x10 wide elements as some old statements points (like graal section), and it was ok. The little change to 32x11x11 turn the figures into a problematic limit.

I bet they will find a solution.

I think that, within the castle walls, a height restriction can generally be dispensed with. After all, the opposing robot is not permitted to enter this area anyway, and raising it above 350 mm is likely to interfere with enemy detection in any case. Therefore, in my view, a restriction to 430 mm is not necessary.  

This makes things easier for the referees, as it would be virtually impossible to monitor any height restriction – be it 430 mm, 450 mm or 500 mm – during a match
