Hello, are LiFe batteries (not LiFePO₄) also exempt from the safety‑bag requirement? The rules don’t specify anything about this, although we used these batteries without safety bags a few years ago. Thank you.

Hello, this is the same thing, LiFe is just a commercial abbreviation of LiFePO₄ which is the good chemical name.

Je ne suis pas d'accord, l'exception des life vaut pour l'ensemble des clauses. Pas besoin de sac (ou alors il faut réécrire le règlement)

Hello Dimitri,

LiFe are LiFePO₄. Just a more convenient marketing name.

They don't need a safety bag, as stated on $F.4.b.

Best regards,

Nota: the previous answer was the opposite of what was intended
