Hi all,

Regarding E.5.b – Actions and Constraints:

In the above section, it is stated that:

"The SIMAs must keep an actuator moving and visible to the public after the end of the match; while standing still to be considered eating. This actuator is not taken into account for the SIMA vertical projection. The SIMA don’t have to be in zone to validate this point."

If a SIMA already has an actuator used for other purposes during the match, can that same actuator be used at the end to score the “eating” point, and if so, does this actuator take part in SIMA's vertical projection?

Thanks in advance,

GK

Hi GK,

"If a SIMA already has an actuator used for other purposes during the match, can that same actuator be used at the end to score the “eating” point"
Yes

"does this actuator take part in SIMA's vertical projection?"
It takes part in the SIMA's vertical projection for max perimeter purposes.
It does not take part in the SIMA's vertical projection for considering whether it is in a pantry.

Yes, it's allowed! Your actuator does not need to be entirely dedicated to this purpose.

does this actuator take part in SIMA's vertical projection?

For the approvals, it counts statically on the maximum perimeter. But not at the end of the match, when it's moving in a pantry.
