Ladybugs also count points by the wall to a plantier?

Hello :) I wanted to ask if the Ladybugs also count fife points if they are by the wall to a plantier or only when they are in the drop zones (the zones where the Robots are staring/ending). Thanks for answering!

The ladybug can valid the action on the drop zone and in the planter.

Does this mean the ladybug has to get physically "in" the plantier? Or is it enough if he is on the playfield for example 1cm near the wall to the plantier?
