Currently, the Ninja SIMA in the granary is allowed to move immediately at the start of the match, while all other SIMAs must wait until the 85th second. This creates an imbalance for teams relying on vision systems, since the Ninja SIMA has no ArUco marker and is therefore not detectable.

We propose one of the following modifications to ensure fairness:

  1. Place an ArUco marker on top of the Ninja SIMA, so that vision-based systems can detect and avoid it.

  2. Delay its movement until the 85th second, aligning it with the other SIMAs’ starting constraints.

  3. Restrict the Ninja SIMA to the granary only, preventing it from moving across the table.

Reasoning:

  • Avoids penalizing teams using optical detection systems, who would otherwise face an “invisible” moving obstacle.

  • Preserves fairness without removing the Ninja SIMA’s role in the granary-related action.

Hi!

Your third point is already true:

E.5.b : "If a SIMA moves outside the starting area (and outside of the granary) before the 85th second, it will be removed from the table"

The ninja is not harder to detect than the other SIMAs, so I do not think any rule change is needed

Good evening,

The ninja SIMA is already restricted to the granary during the 85th first second.
