Due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, both organizations Planète Sciences and Eurobot are concerned about the health of our members, teams and volunteers.
National contests are handled by NOCs (National Organization Committee) which are aware of local pandemic status and official health guidelines in their own country. Those events may be held as planned, if possible without any safety hazard, or may be postponed if needed. Some events may even take place behind closed doors, without any spectators.
In case of any change regarding an event, teams of the country will be contacted by the local organisation committee.
About the Eurobot finals, Eurobot Open, originaly scheduled on May 21st-23rd, will be postponed to July 9th-11th in la Roche-sur-Yon, France. Eurobot Junior (June 6th-7th) is currently maintained. We are already working with local French authorities in case the current ban on public gatherings persists.
With our NOCs, partners and host cities, we continue to work on all Eurobot 2020 events as best as we can, and we will keep you updated as soon as we have new information.
