Hi all,

Quick question. On our remote computing and observation device, we use an unmodified COTS(commercial-off-the-shelf) device for enemy detection, which includes movement constrained within the device. Is an Emergency stop button required? Last year, with only a camera, we did not use one, and there was no problem with homologation. Also, it's mentioned that avoidance doesn't have to stop when the emergency stop button is pressed, even on the main robot.

So, is one required here, or is it ok without one?

Thanks in advance,

GK

Good afternoon

If the battery is include inside the device, the Emergency button is not mandatory.

If the battery is out of the device, you have to put a emergency button between the battery and the device.
