What if the top of my banner, the part touching the edge of the table is for example 450mm long for the height of 100mm and then for the next 250mm of height it's 500mm long. My banner then fills an area of 500x250 but not in it's full height. Would this be valid?

Not an official answer:

Yes it would (as you can count the 100x500mm area as part of the banner holding system)

I would take some margin, in case the deployment is not perfect

Good afternoon

As says in the rules : To be valid, the banner displayed must cover at least a full area of  500mm long and 250mm heigh. If the banner is made up of several elements, then for it to be valid, the elements must completely fill the surface provided for the banner.

Please read the rule before asking.

I'm sorry I don't understand your response. Is it valid or not?

As you said : "My banner then fills an area of 500x250". So yes, the constraint "banner displayed must cover at least a full area of  500mm long and 250mm heigh" is respected, the banner is valid.
