2005 eurobot final practical information

Last Minutes Information
The Final of EUROBOT 2005 will take place from Friday the 20th of May to Sunday the 22nd of May 2005 in Switzerland at Yverdon-les-Bains.
The SwissEurobot Cup will take place just before, from the 19th to the 20th of May where the 3 best Swiss teams are selected for Eurobot Final.
National qualifications for Eurobot 2005 will also take place in other countries. Have a look on the National Cups page to have more information on the national qualifications.

Logistical information (meals/lodging/access)
The organization takes care of the teams from the 19th of May's diner to the 23rd of May's breakfast to the conditions stated below. Lodging and meals are offered to 4 persons per team. The additionnal persons will benefit from preferential prices at the same conditions.
The transportation costs of the teams from their country to Yverdon-les-Bains are at the team expenses.
All practical informations are stated in the logistic questionnaire. The questionnaire must be sent back to the organization before the 10th of May. Special discount for those answering before the 20th of April.

Team's accommodation : dormitories
The teams' dormitory are situated in different locations in town, not too far from the competition area : in "civil protection dormitories " (40 persons' bedroom), in clubhouses and in the youth hostel. As no linen nor blankets will be provided, participants have to bring their sleeping bags. Bedrooms are accessible at anytime during the day or the night. The entry door of the accomodation location is locked and you need to identify yourself to the guard to access. Only people lodging there can have access to it. |
"Civil protection" dormitory |
Each accomodation location is equipped with toilets, and showers. Towels, soap and other accessories are not provided. You have to bring them.
Dormitories are located ~2km from the contest hall. They will be accessible by bus shuttle on morning and evening, and on request during day and night.

Team's accommodation : Camp Site
Not far from the competition area, you can put your tent in Yverdon-les-Bains campsite.

Hotels in town
There is a large number of hotels in Yverdon-les-Bains town centre,
not too far from the competition place, or near the town.
Be aware : The town will not pay for the lodging of the teams in hotel.

Meals
The organization pays for the meals of 4 people per team. The additionnal persons will benefit from preferential prices.
