Zone de Texte: While the finall round of Swiss E-Robot takes place in a tremendous
atmosphere, few lost souls wander around the basement to prepare this new version of The Gazette for you. Enjoy it, you lucky ones!

Match comments…
Wonderfull!!!
The matches shown on the big screen
Accommodation, available for sleeping.
Zone de Texte: Negative points:

There should be a screen for showing the matches in the pits .

Conditions on the playing fileds, during the tests, particularly the lights are not the same as the ones in the match

These opinions have been given by: RMS team Switzerland, CVRA club Vaudois de Robotique Autonome Suisse, ESEO robotique club France and interviewed by Mèlanie Epony.
Zone de Texte: - Messages of hope: "Accepted at 10:45" from "Atlas" from
Morocco; messages of despair: "We
failed, so we are sleeping" from
Spaghetti Hi-Tech project from Italy.
- Useful informations like batteries
loading procedures
- A team drilled its robot only a few mm away from a small HDD, which was
attached to it. My 6th robotician sense is telling me, that this is not a realy good idea…
- The german Aachen team, which owns a great deal of materials, even their own tower, has installed a programming stand. Thanks to all of them: everybody is now connected to their wireless
network.
- An authentic Scottish is wandering around, wearing a kilt. He has been seen, discussing about the merit of France with a referee. Up to now, we don't know if it was to get a little more support during the approval test. When can we have approval commitee that will take into account the wearing of the traditional costume?
- Warning: alcohol abuse can ruin a
robot's health! Some beer bottles
remained on the tables. Without doubt, we can say that this was to keep the
designers awake during the night shift. The teams are invited to behave
themselves to avoid the excesses that took place, this year, for example (taken randomly) during the french
robotic cup. One glass is OK, three and say hello to Murphy!
